Correspondence, poetry, certificates, newsclippings, and an album containing photographs and other items relating to Robert Tieken, who served as U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois in the 1950s; to his father Theodore Tieken, a physician; and to their wives and children. Includes correspondence with Congressman Everett M. Dirksen (Republican; Illinois) and genealogical research on the Tieken family. Also included are legal documents and correspondence related to the proposed expansion of Illinois Route 120 in the late 1950s that would intesect with part of Tieken's property off Belvidere Road near Waukegan, Illinois.
